Final Fantasy Versus XIII is an action based Final Fantasy title for the PS3, from the Kingdom Hearts and Advent Children teams.Versus is the story of a young king sworn to defend the last crystal in the world from the "hectic order" outside of his kingdom. Square really wants to stretch our pockets with this franchise :( . Square announced earlier this year at E3 that there will b 3 final fantasy XIII titles released.Not much info has been released about this title as yet but what is known is that the team that worked on advent children will be teaming up with the kingdom team for this title.This release will have a different storyline from FFXIII and also separate characters.There is a trailer out for this title so u guys can check it out on gamespot an look forward to more info as it is released.Im personally likin the cg images especially the 1 with the swords.I guess square-enix is going all out with the final fantasy franchise for the nex gen systems.

FFXIII will be the first installment of the three FFXIII titles that will be released by square-enix.A year ago, the Final Fantasy X team was working on a version of Final Fantasy XIII for the PlayStation 2. That team was pulled off of the project to create the PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy VII tech demo that was shown at E3 2005. Instead of going back to the unfinished XIII project, the team scrapped the game and began work on XIII for the PlayStation 3.The XIII team was assembled with specialized developers who focused on building a brand-new game engine, called the White Engine. This engine was developed to integrate graphics rendering, physics, cinematics, sound, and special effects. Square Enix promises that the White Engine will allow Final Fantasy XIII to take full advantage of the PlayStation 3 hardware.Overall this games is looking to be a great hit on the PS3.
