Plot / Synopsis: Daniel Craig is the next James Bond in a film where we get to see the famous spy become 007.

Its an okay movie. but not a bond movie as far as i'm concerned it just didn't feel right. it felt like mission impossible 4 instead. i mean bond doens't run bond drives but in this movie he was like an animal running all over the place.. he didn't have the cool smooth i'm james bond thing about him at all. the girl of the movie didn't impress me.. this as the follow up fil after from russia with love sucked. but with reason

reason is this is actually a prequel to all the bond movies so i figure they were trying to capture an inexperienced agent and i'ld probably say they did well but at the cost of the entire movie just feeling odd.

movie to me did good, and as u said it played the roll of a prequel to all other bond movies, and to me it did it lovely, just didn't like the waste of time re: the female

Anyways Im not a huge Bond fan, so it was a ok movie. Like the poker playing the best.
The female in the last bit was a waste of time.
Bond is hot!!! Has GORGEOUS unbelievably blue eyes!!! More times I was more focused on his eyes than the movie. :D

not being used ot him has nothing to do with it. .i'm just saying if your a bond movie person this didn't feel like one. there were no cool gadgets that made me say ohhhh i want one of those. it felt like i was watching tom cruis running through china town in mission impossible 3.. all bond did was run run run and more running. throw in some base jumping here and there adn thats it..

@ shini that thread will be dissolved eventually reason... its difficult to traverse for people that are searching for a movie (oppinions on it etc.) if they were sorted by threads then it would be easier.. so i figure it might be better to make a thread for each movie. as you realize movies get tallked about way after the threads get made at times people like to dig up stuff. the talk bout ne movie thread wont work for that. its would be jumbled meaning

spider man here then pirates of the caribean there etc.. it lacks organization and order.

let me elaborate on this.. the movie is basically about bond when he has just joined the organization..so he is very head strong, reckless, has an ego the size of both north and south ameroca put together..or that's what i've gotten from this movie... and the point about it not having the same james bond ness is that all those fancy gadgetries that have been seen and used in the previous movies aren't in this one.. all in all it's a good flick enjoyed the movie so i can safely say the bandwidth was well spent..ROFL...lol..

ya.. you hit the nail on the head thats exactly what i've been trying ot say. you got the point accross like a trapeze artist without falling. there was no super agent vibe at all.

but he wasn't then a super agent, he was just getting his "stipes"

i know this.. and i'm saying that is why the movie felt odd.. it made perfect sense.. it jsut felt very odd i had to keep wondering am i watching james bond.

I just checked out the trailer and it look aiight. watchable.

Im not a Bond fan.. but this ques been bugging me... all the past James Bond actors were representing different James Bonds?
Or was it all suppose to be one guy? Like there are different Batman actors.. but they all represent the one Batman.

actually i think blindz wwrong. but i not certain.. i think james bonds are replaced allt he time. meaning i think.. the agent that gets promted to 007 will be called james bond meaning its not a real name to begin with..

its 1 person, the name belongs to 1 person, the title of 007 may change between persons, that wat I understood after reading this:

It sounds to me like its just a name and which ever "007" dies, a suitable candidate takes his/her place. ...hehe. :D Or I could be wrong.

I don't recall how many book there are but there are ppl who just use the name of bond to create a movie, and there is this other writer who is writing novels about James Bond, its all in the wiki link I provided above
