Sir Ian McKellen, who played Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings films, has voiced dismay over the decision to drop Peter Jackson as director of The Hobbit.

i agree. and he has the credentials of the past 3.. so i dont see why they'ld wanna drop him.

I agree too! Peter Jackson directed LOTR like it should be. This is the same man who nabbed 13 nods for this movie at the Oscars, Best Picture ftw.

They're making a stupid mistake, and I hope that The Hobbit will flop. It'd teach them a lesson.
