Plot / Synopsis: In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community is in denial about the teenager's recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort, preferring to turn a blind eye to the news that Voldemort has returned. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.

Jaykaye 11-26-2006, 07:47 PM Can't wait to watch this! This is supposed to be a lot more exciting, yet darker than the previous ones. I was a bit sad at the ending of the book, i only hope the movie will do it justice.

Well me have all 6 books... love it. Cant wait for movie.
Linkin 11-27-2006, 07:45 AM I did a background check on J.K. Rowling and In February 2004, Forbes magazine estimated her fortune at £576 million (just over US$1 billion), making her the first person to become a US-dollar billionaire by writing books.
Freedom listen to this. The sixth book of the series sold more copies in 24-hours than The Da Vinci Code sold in a year. (The Da Vinci Code was the best-selling book of the previous year.)
...MADD!!! :D She get my ratinz but she still ain't gettin' me to read her books.
Malloc-X 11-27-2006, 04:38 PM why is it that people dont like to read anymore, too much cable tv i guess. i think this is the one where someone close to harry dies. his death was sad but it made the book more enjoyable.
Yeah Harry Potter is a nice movie well done too............CGI is always on the better level......story line so always good..........growing character is what make this movie one of the best movie of our time yes......you can grow with Harry Potter, Hermione. and Ron........

Shini 07-20-2007, 05:47 PM What time today??
Linkin 07-20-2007, 11:52 PM Sorry I couldn't get to reply to you. I signed out and left for the movies as soon as I made the post. But It wasn't wat it was cracked up to be. The Director, David Yates, changed the story line a bit. But the ultimate wizard dual was between the man who we should not speak his name and the big man himself. That made it up for me. :D
P.S. 5:05 movie
care-_-free 07-25-2007, 12:59 PM i am confused  and i am wondering if its just me..........
Has anybody else watched this movie yet........... It is quite possible the worst acting IIIII have ever seen in mY LliiIiiiIIIIFFFFEEE. I am truly pissed off, the bastard movie makers have once again devoured my money (again) and have given me nothing in return....... i firmly believe now that the Harry potter series should remain as a book and not a movie..................was it jus me or did harry and hermione try to overact the part making them look like complete n00bs, the only saving grace was ron (weasley king). i am sadenned for my bank account and wallets all over the world :( . i actually forgot the movie that i was watchin, during the intermission and they deviated so far from the book it was unbelievable that they manage to flow each seen into each other.......... i am sad.
The bAd pArt aboUT thIS is that, the people Them knoW if Them Make another movie, mi ago waan see it :( .
Shini 07-25-2007, 06:04 PM Meh, it was an ok watch... ok cause it was entertaining... you can obviously tell is a different director and crap.
Its not better than ok because they HARDLY followed the damn book!!!
raphahealer 09-22-2007, 06:54 PM the movie wasnt that great but it was worth seeing.
