Plot / Synopsis: Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight's emergence as a force for good in Gotham. In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful.

He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city.

It was good. At first it was hard for me to accept the guy as a batman. He didn't have the look so to speak, I think val Kilmer did a great job. But after getting past his look I was alright with the movie. The Vehicle also annoyed me at first as it looked mostly like a tank but It had its purpose.. Ovr all it was a great movie.

And this was the only batman movie which i didnt really like all that much. It went too far from the batman thing i think. He wasnt exactly the dark knight (not death knight dk). He had a big overgrown car and he didnt have the flair you expect from a batman. Its just like when they choose... whats his name to be james bond. He couldnt cut it cuz he doesnt have it.

I think the movie was great. They thought more in the dark comics version of batman. That means that a lot of the toony concepts of the other movies were ommitted to provide a more hard core movie.
They revamped the whole thing. Think of it, how was batman's first year doing his job? He was unsure, unprepared and unequipped. It is a fresh look at the franchise.
If they have a sequel then that is where you will see more of the dark knight and the story that we are used to. Much of the existing content on batman focuses on his active years and on his beginnings. Hence: Batman Begins.

He eventually gets a high-tech cave and better vehcs

Dude u dis ma actor ... my thing is i biased to the film cus of bale. but beyond that it is the best of the movies simply cus of time i must say. there is much more technology to go in this movies than its predeessors and this movie had a totally different purpose.
to create the character not watch the character destroy his enemies. it succeeded their, a nice touch was the end of the movie actually being the beginning in soem sense. the title actually didnt show until the movie was over and the joker character was slightly introduced.
Hopefully this movie will launch a number of batman movies beng re-made to show the joker and twoface and introduce robin and batgirl. wit this now twist or attitude and graphics. that would be nice to see
