what do u ppl think is in store for the future of the psp?Right now i honestly think the psp has great potential that need to be pushed forward.Ive had my psp from about a month since its release and ive seen the psp evolve in trems of the things it can do.Since its release ive seen the psp been ugraded so as to browse the web, play different forms of audio and video formats, play rss feeds, able to now use a camera peripheral and even now being able to have visualizations while playing music. Not to mention the homebrew scene, look at some of the wonderful things that has brought us.through homebrew we are now able to play games from the past through emulators.Ive so far played snes and gameboy advance games on ma psp that runs very good.We can run ps1 games which is 1 of the best things i think the system is able to do.Ive now even been able to change ma icons on ma psp to custom ones which is way cool.To me the psp is overall great and i think there are better things to come in the future for it.share your views on what you think about it and the future of the psp.

I"ve been hearing talks of a psp2 already. which kinda scares me cause the life span of mine is about to come to an end. on another note though, no other hand held console can ever compare to the play station portable. it just doesn't make sense to even try. the ds doesn't have graphics any where near it. the game library on a psp with homebrew is massive now because of psx games.. so there's no competition at all.

I've waited too long to obtain one and quite frankly I don't want one ne more. Its sad isn't it?

I loving mine right about now, got a messenger on it and it runs sweet, the only possible thing they can do to it is upgrade graphics so that it competes with the real gaming consoles but right now, it sweet

Yo know the DS can actually compete... Look into the m3 lite for the DS.. With that u can play roms and homebrew and videos.. music. and even auto books...

Now the PSP still wins HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!! Take it from me... I got my little bro a DS.. I told him i can trade in all his games and ill get him m3 lite.. He took the psp isntead lol... Then I got one later on... The other day i traded in my entire psp libary 16 games and this case that held all of them.. Just for a 4 gig and Lumines... In wonder why *evil laugh*

You can downgrade from 3.50 and down with lumnies.. past that you need what is called a pandoras battery.. All it is, is a hacked regular battery (yes they hacked all the battery too) but once you hack the battery you CAN NOT use it to run the psp normally, that battery from then on out CAN ONLY be used for downgrading... You can find the files online to make the battery and u also use it along with a memroy stick with some files they give you too...

Google this stuff its all there.. You just have to look around alot... It took me a solid day to get all the files to downgrade then to upgrade it to custom firmware

as u may or shud have read above, it all depends on the type of games you like to play, otherwise as them sey, good games are hard to find

right now i storming up Smackdown vs Raw 2007 plus have season 2 of Samauri Jack on it for those times of idleness and boredom on the road or away from ma computer.

They would be great if it weren't for those hard-to-write-to mini discs.

Haters... It doesnt matter what you play... Psp has every single genry covered!!!!! I lie the only genre it doesnt cover is the "mario" genre... As in any game with the name mario in it.. Which is the only reason anyone should but a nintendo console (which is is why i want a wii for smash bros brawl)

I personally don't care about the future of psp. My friends who has a psp says there aren't really any good games for it, and that thier are just not that many. So I choose to stick with my PS2.
