Im not much of the Final Fantasy player i only played X and i really loved it. Its rumoured that 7 is the best. Oh well X is the first i played and the graphics just had me WEAK yow.

8 is the best to me and thats VIII not IIIX as you have in the poll

have played them all except 12 (XII)

haven't played FF, not a real fan of turn based games

FFX WINS HANDS DOWN the introduction of talking did wonders for that game.. also i loved that story more thant VII i dunno how come.. VII then VIII comes next for me

thanx for the correction infidel.well i choose ff8 still.i really liked the storyline in that 1 and the main character was way kool. it wasnt anywhere near ffX graphical nor did it have voice acting but this game was good in terms of battle system,storyline and characters.

yea the FF8 characters were really fun to play with and against with my favourite being Zell, Seifer and that bitch Edea (who in my opinion is one of the best FF bosses with one of the maddest theme songs)

FFX was the first of the series to draw me in. As soon as I saw and played the demo, I knew I had to get it. So to me, it is considered the best and my favorite. Loved the story, the characters, even the sphere grid.

FFVIII comes second because I also loved the character development there, and even though it was a bit more challenging (didn't like junctioning too much), the storyline overshadowed all the negatives, so I ended up enjoying it also.

(I kinda have to place FFXII in there also, because even though the story is more focused around politics and war between kingdoms, the battle system is great and graphics? don't even get me started on those.. :P they are amazing. Critics would even say that this surpasses all of them so far)

yeh.. i think i said it earlier too.. ffx is without a doubt the best ffx, graphically pleasing. they talk. the cut scenes are to kill for.. its overall the greatest thing.. if they should remake ffVII with ffx graphics though.. then you know what would happen.

FFVIII because it was my first FF. But you 'made' me choose between VIII, X and XII. LOL!

FF VI was the best, I've never played Crystal Chronicles but from what I heard it was the worst. Of the others I've played FFX and FFIX were the worst because you needed a strategy guide to do everything in either, and FFX was just way too easy and took no skill...although a lot of the game you absolutely needed a guide to know what to do. The early FF games were not bad for their time but have not aged well.

I mean a lot of the secrets are obscure unless you get a guide. Yes, you can play through the game without a guide, but you'll miss a lot of the content.

now i follow. like what was odd was that you could get your first aeons second attack in the first village? by talking to the dog close to the black witches tent.. a friend of mine actually told me about that. i would never have figured that out.

Well, I have played some of them, not all. ffVII i liked they most.

I liked 7 the most, the battle system was't groundbreaking but it was easy to use and understand, and the plot and story were phenomanal.

Final Fantasy VI is the best I've played.

I really liked X, XII, I and VII as well.

funny enough i started with ff online and love it then played 12 now playing 10 and its making me crazy cause i been playing 2 days now and stuck at that stupid crawler machine thingy and getting frustrated lol, only saw the movie for 7 but i really did enjoy playing 12

I wish i could play something beyond 10.. But no playstation 2 or money to pay for online game play. so blah.... 10 is superb though especially if you played in the acending order.. cause they could now talk i was like omfg.... listen to em... they talking...

ff 7 is the best of them all hands down

I like a lot of them. It's difficult to choose a favorite but I guess X would be my favorite because the graphics are better and I like the fact that the characters can become strong on their own and not be quite as dependent on Summoning.

ff7 is the best all around the graphics were good and the battle system was awsome

it's really hard to say which one is the best, they are all very unique. i really like FF VII for its story and characters, FF X and X2 for its summons, and FF XII for... i dunno, i just love it. anyone here likes FF tactics advance?

i would say final fantasy crisis core is a sucess
