yet another movie i'm really lookin forward to for this year.. the silver surfer looks soo detailed in this movie.. not much is shown in the trailer tho. or any insight as to y the silver surfer is in this movie but one thing is for sure... it looks cool.

I still dont get why the silver surfer is a villain cause he is good. If i remember correctly he feeds galactus dead planets.. So no one will be planetless.

from what i know about they surfer he wasn't "good" all along wasn't evil either...the movie barely touched on it but he marks worlds so galactus can feed on them

He's more a neutral char because he is working for an "evil" thing.. but he can be influenced by how people affect his emotions or his way of thinking.

He was mortal once afterall.

as far as i remmeber he is a neutral chracter who as someone said marks planets for galactus to feed off. if ma memory serves me correctly he visits planet and judges them on the level of advancement they have achieved technologically i believe and deceides if they are worth being spared or if their world should die. cud b wrong though.

All I want to know is if the movie is good enough for me to pay for admission, or if it's one of those "Download that sh*t!" deals.

yeah.. the got noren rad perfectly his voice. n character seems on point. the fantastic four them self kinda cheesy tho. overall the movie can watch.. saw it today.

well just finished watching it and in all honesty thur were cheesy parts overall but i must admit the movie was pretty decent. im mostly happy tht i got to see alot of the human torch in action this time around. also glad they brought even more elements of the actual comic to life......dum dum dah...the ill fitted fantastic four jet tht can break apart. was fun seeing tht. main thing i didnt like though was how easy they make it seem to whoop silver surfers ass, so wasnt feeling that but on the up side got to see the surfer use his powers....^_^

That movie was crap... why is galactus a cloud! o_0? not even a cool cloud...

Let's see......As with most movies these days based on comics or whatever, they usually screw the storyline. SS doesn't die in the comics, and Galactus cannot be killed like that. Anyways, as put by my G/F, the movies are not onging as the comics, and therefore the elements that are passing through need a more definitive ending, other than continuing to run around the galaxy etc. It would be nice to see something that sticks true to the story, but doing so would mean continuing the movies for a really long strech.

And Silver Surfer actor wasnt even informed that he would be voiced over... and i wanted to hear him, cause i heard his voice for silver surfer would give shivers and chills.

But I wish they had given the original actor a chance to show what he is capable of.

yes we know galactus should be a big being in a sship with tentacales that suck the plannet dry and what not. but really a dunno if they could pull of a galactus. they did the surfer well. but i doubt they could pull a galactus.

Silver Surfer was nice done decently.... The voice over was perfect... so no problem in that (honestly never even noticed it was a voice over heheheh). Point taken on the Galactus thing..... they should have made a ship then we would figure that he was in the ship.... but a cloud? ohh well it was watchable.

As I think about it though if Galactus is a (Cloud as in the movie) how could a cosmic explosion destroy him? That alone would tell me that the Silver surfer seemed to have just killed himself and not Galactus (in the movie that is)

nah you right bout that part. If he was indeed a cloud of sorts an explosion couldn't kill him.. but.. i think you looking at it wrong the cosmic explosion should obliterate by destructional force on matter, but probably relative to the cosmic energy which is what they both were.

Maybe its a cancellation kind of action. Where the surfer used his own energy to negate / cancel Glactus's

so who from the fantastic 4 died...i not watching no more happily ever after crap movies, where the bad guy gets to kill someone and holds off only to die in the end.

Erm as for Galactus... it is a huge pile of canine excretion if Galactus... who is considered almost godlike (not God-like :p )... if he is killed by an explosion no matter how huge.

Granted.. in Marvel Zombies, he and Silver Surfer did die when the marvel superheroes and villan zombies ate them... now that was a damn funny comic.
