the date is April 8th 2007. this is a sunday but not to worry there will be no work on monday cause its easter weekend. if you have church it doesn't matter you can come after cause we'll be there the whole day.

Now for the twist. Based on the location we're gonna merge two events that has been in the pipline Anime Trading Day 6.0 and Anime Gaming Day 1.0. Please indicate by votes if you'll be able to attend or not

Spoke with the owner of area 51 this morning to get a ball park figure I was told $500 dollars. We well get access to the shop for the entire day. is $500 over kill for you. If you have other options you are free to suggest.

no.. the 500 is just for the admission. food will have to be acquired on your own. based on the fact that its a sunday though we gotta figure out how we gonna secure food. the closest place i can think of thats open on a sunday is bk at the pavillion or kfc up the road. and i hate both those. i like cooked food. i dunno guys. right now i'm hungry tooo :s... cant wait till the dinner at cocoro in bout 1 hr time.

I hope to be on hand on the day of the event to get everything flowing properly at the event.

there is a wide variety of games on all the current major systems Gcube, Ps2, Xbox, xbox 360 and Wii

seeing that it a party fun pick up and play vibe I think I have an idea what you'll need to play.

Xboxs are modified with 100gb hardrives packed to brim with games so it has the variety...from mortal combat to burnout, to def jam to need for speed to fifa to nes, super nes...everything and everything you need you should be able to find it or something close.

Gcube has got the quick fun and chic magnet games like Mariokart, smash bros and Mario party 4, Resident Evil 4

Ps2 has got fighting games fulled to the brim Soul calibur, tekken 5, Naruto, guilty gear and more

and on the x360 Gears of War is all you will ever need and with 4 systems and up to 4 player team x 2 = 8...COG vs Locust action (minus 1 locust controller that I will be hogging) thats as close to some PC style action you will get. I will be there to bring the newbies up to speed and withing 15 minutes you'll be ok

yeah the date has been decided, Sunday April 8th, 2007. Ofcourse with a super lineup of games like that ppl will be playing all day. But i'm sure all the ppl who wish to get anime will get. I think everybody (i think i said this in another thread) should list the HARDWARE they are taking to the venue. Burners, laptops, hard drives etc. So we'll have an idea how much burining can go on...

Quite a few people seemed they were not gonna show at all. It didn't make sense to keep the event with the few that would come.. Therefore The decesion was made to cancel the event....
