Plot / Synopsis: Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name.

Vin Diesel will star as Agent 47 in 20th Century Fox's upcoming adaptation of "Hitman," the best-selling video game franchise from Eidos and developer IO Interactive. The game's story centers on an international assassin known as Agent 47 who works for a mysterious organization dubbed the Agency. The first three games in the franchise have sold more than 10 million units. Eidos plans to release another sequel, "Hitman: Blood Money," this fall. Diesel also will executive produce. Charles Gordon and Adrian Askarieh are producing through their respective companies, Daybreak Productions and Prime Universe Productions. Daniel Alter will co-produce.

Now honestly Vin Diesel.. Boooo. Nay i say. I belive Jason Stratham would have done a better job. He looks way closer to agent 47. Thinking bout it. Liquid bunny's dad should do the movie. If ya'll saw him you'ld see what i'm saying. He's the black agent 47. lol. but seriously Vin Diesel wasn't the best pic for this.. who agrees/disagrees?

I disagree. I think Vin Diesel is tough! Maybe I am his only fan.

Agent 47 should be tall and bald. He is also relatively slim but well built. I am not certain that Diesel is the right height. However, his one word responses will be quite appropriate for the role as 47. Who really remembers talking much in Hitman?

As an appropriate side note I have been secretly wishing something like this would happen. It is about time movies stop turning into games and instead games turn into movies. Doom was a great idea, and I don't see how they can lose with Hitman. I wonder what the plot will be though.

I remember running around sixth form doing mock assasinations of various people. Sneaking up and choking them with fiber wire or killing with one shot from my pistol. Hitman was more than a video game- it because a sport.

i am a vin deisel fan but i think jason would do a better job.

I wonder when the movie would take place relative to the game plot. It would be cool if they show him getting back at the agency for all the traps they sold him out into. Two times they got him trapped. At the end of Silent Assassin he was supposed to finish the beef.
I bet in Blood Money he is going to get back to the agency like a numb skull... and they going to sell him out again. They claim they didn't know in the first one... I don't believe that is the same in the second.
