i read the translation for 282 and kakashi will be out of action for atleast a week. the mangekyou really drained him

gotta agree, the only true and smart mangekyou user is itachi, even he knows when to not use it. as long as it'll have him in a pinch where his powers are concerned he'ld rather not use it.

to how i see it, it was necessary for him to use it cause naruto was outta contol as usual and kakashi was mindful of the fact that deidara did capture gaara. so he tried to take deidara out or at least to disable him to the point where he couldn't do anything to naruto + kakashi never had any other avenue to get to deidara cause he was running away..leading them far from sakura and granny vs. sasori
it was an urgent situation, thats why he used it
