the adsense @ the top of the page makes it look sorta tacky as well..

i understand threat earnings are needed but I have to agree with the ad up top looking off, prolly not "tacky" but I think it takes away from the nice design. Prolly you can use a link unit up top and add the banner down low

I dont think its that much of a good idea to make this theme like the old one.. People as usual are just hesitant to accept change We just need to find a more fitting color for the text which ffits within the scope of this new theme's color scheme. I'm thinking about another theme with the black and gold theme concept with a bit more flare of course.

as long as i'm here you will still see something from the old theme.. i like the Yellow and Black look..

Dk....i could have made a better forums skin that this...not for free of course...much work. I dont like it because it not looks like 75% of the other anime forums out there instead of 25%...kinda like animeonline.net ...hey maybe if the table witdth was only 780 like B&G instead of what ...90%? i think it is now ...it would be better...and sinistra need to hurry up with those buttons too ..the generic ones are not helping...ugh...im not like this at all...no artisticness...generic banner with tech effect ...generic anime character...(will that be randomised?) its just generic not the black and gold was a bit more personal...felt like people contributed...

the new esign at a glance is very pleasing to the eye. i almsot get a sense of a Mac styled interface.

looking a little deeper some of the text needs a little more contrast to make reading easier.

overall a nicer and cleaner sense of space on the new version.

I already told you guys its a work in progress. The theme design was 100% free I payd no money for the theme. Sinistra basically donated it. the buttons are being made as well. Should be up by sunday. if you should go in a forum you'll see how they should look (neww thread button)

sinistra was the original theme creator for animeonline.net from back in the days of cybergig and eoa's affiliation with animeonline. If i remember correctly. Malloc-x and i know him. He's pretty good at what he does. this theme probably was done in 5 minutes.

And as i said its a work in progress. so there is no need to get all *omg omg* about ne thing. synergy is just going through a transition. thats all. Its happened many times before. synergy wasn't exactly the most visually pleasing of sites before the black and gold theme. Allow us to find "that look" again.

it would have been better to just have everything up and running all at once so its like *boom!* wow new style is nice...instead of....oh its coming along...its easier that way with web sites i know but forums is a bit harder... JMHO

He's done styles that you cant tell the underlying forum system used. And i understand what yourr saying but it wouldn't work out.. need it to happen now basically. the new themes will be up in time

Yeah the logo is a bit hard to read probably a different colour will sort it out maybe increase the size a little too. All in all I likes it though.

Still playing with the schemes I see. This one looks nice, and the title pic looks good as well. Can't choose the theme that the user wants to see?

In a word... PATIENCE... we're still in the building stage.. ASv3 is not finished yet.. so yes, some things arent ready or complete yet.
Making comments is good, but being impatient about the speed at which things are going does not help anyone.
