SHAKUGAN NO SHANA

There seems to be an underlined philosophical theme within this anime. The I think there for I am or what if I exist or really don’t exist question presents itself multiple times through the character of sakai yuji and a the rinne (tomogara puppets). Who’s existence was long ago eaten by a tomogara or rinne. He tries to find the answer to his question if he is still yuji or just a torch to replace yuji’s existence until he fates away to nothing ness forgotten by every one.
Characters
Alastor the flame of heaven – tomogara who resides within the Shakugan flame haze
Marcus the fang of destruction – tomogara who resides within the interpreter of condolence flame haze
Shana – trained to be the next flame haze for Alastor the flame of heaven, melee fighter wields a powerful sword called the neitono no shana, this is also the way she got her name
Margery Daw – the interpreter of condolence, the flame haze in which Marcus the fang of destruction resides in. more of a spell caster type but on transformation becomes a mixture of melee and spell casting and projectile fighter.
Sakai Yuji – torch and a mistes who crosses shana’s path, the story unfolds around him as he is hunted for the treasure within him.
Willhellmina - manipulator of objects, sort of a mother figure for shana during her days of training on the tendo kyu
Yoshida Kazumi – school mate of yuji who loves him, and competes with shana for yuji’s recognition
