KIMI GA NOZUMU EIEN

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is actually derived from its hentai video game counter part for playstation 2 made by age. Its story centers on the love triangle between two girls and a guy that grow up together in high school. But one day, tragedy strikes, and all their lives are changed forever. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is about how these characters cope with tragedy and their decisions affecting their future.

Character designs and personalities were fairly realistic. The main character Takayuki is probably the only classical anime character who behaves very unrealistic with decision making. Haruka and mitsuki on the other hand could pass as real people. Very firm, and know what they want. Shinji who is a close friend of the four but mainly of takayuki isn’t really part of the main story until near the end where he gets pulled in way too deep.

The plot line of this anime is perfect and the thing that makes it so great is that its all believable these kind of love triangles happen all the time maybe not in the sequence of events that led to it, but even that is possible

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is definitely a Must See Anime it’s a Riveting and captivating story that just keeps you watching until its over, always wanting to know what’s gonna become of the situation

Don't think this would be that great of a series at all.

I loved this anime. The OST is very nice as well (as is the OST for any anime). I recommend it. It's somewhat of a typical Japanese love story all the same, and if you're Japanese, then the outcome is somewhat predictable. Outside of that, depending on the person you are, the ending will probably be one of a few things: Tear jerking and sad Tear jerking and happy Tear jerking and indifferent Plain dumb Sad IndifferentIt depends on your personality though. Personally, I loved the buildup, but the ending was a little off. As with most anime, always watch the credits of the last episode to get more insight on what the outcome was.

Mini-Spoiler. You've been warned.

The anime is actually based on a PC game which was released in 2001. The other versions came out later on. The game is an H-Game (Hentai) and has a lot more elements than what's in the anime. The ending in the anime is one of the endings that you could have gotten. The company responsible for the anime is also releasing 2 other endings. The initial ending shown is a modified version of Mitsuki's ending. The second ending which is released and called "Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Next Season~" is a modified version of Haruka's ending. The next available ending - which I think they're going to do - should be coming out in on April 26, 2008 (this year). Hopefully that ending will be better than the original. The ending for ~Next Season~ is not as good as one would have expected it to be. It does show another way that the game would have ended, and another way that the anime could have ended, but for people who love the happy endings, this is just not it. You'd probably have to be Japanese, or understand the culture, to get an idea of why whatever happened, did so in the way and order that it did.

No denying that. If you liked this, I have a recommendation for you: Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=3573). Nice anime with a much better ending.
