The Tokugawa-era storyline follows two warring ninja clans looking to annihilate each other, and at the same time claim a scroll that will lead to an alliance with the ruling government. The show's main draw is definitely the intense duels between members of both ninja clans, and this is where the comparisons to Naruto come from. As they exercise their fantastic powers to defeat one another, reality takes a quick exit and we fully enter the realm of supernatural fantasy....Recommended for fans of straight action, but don't expect to be wowed by the storyline.

I've seen episode one of this so far.. and it seem interesting. I got the episode from irc from a bot that is on Rizon.net in channel #bakakozou. Not as comical as Naruto but thes pl seem liek REAL ninga's.. to an extent.... hehehe

i'm at ep 9 right now i thik i have an idea of what henderson is saying they die. but not from intense battling, its like tricks and ploys but he needs to watch more. i doubt he's made it past ep 8 as yet. so its way too early to draw a conclusion.

it doesn't have a fairy tale end cause.. well its not a fairy tale. its just a pity we couldn't see more of the characters and see their abilities in battle before they met their demise.

its a good story though...maybe when all the others have seen it we can discuss the bitter history of the 2 clans..

hai hai and rory's skill of working in the same building as enigma :D.. but in ne event i'm looking back at the anime in retro spect. its pretty good shit. the ending wasn't 100 % fine. but take the whole story in let it settle, take the events that got it to the end, and take in the character development that occured. not that bad huh..


I'm attempting not to really give away ne thing so i'm a be sorta vague, was hyoma's jutsu the same as gennosuke or was he using gennosuke's jutsu. secondly is he realy blind? and if he his then.... how the hell does he use that jutsu?

Hyoma was told to teach Gennosuke the jutsu of the eyes thus implying that he must know it or know of how to use it

at the time when Hyoma used it, it was Gennosuke's jutsu he was using. i'm sure i heard them say something about the connection between the 2 of them and Gennosuke was the one who said to look at Nenki

i'ts not making any sense.? it says nothing of hyoma being able to use another's jutsu

re: Hyoma's jutsu. i think he has the same ability as he's gennosuke's uncle.. but he's actually blind right. thing is based of the jutsu i guess you wouldn't need to see. it really just reflects killin intent back at the enemy. so even though he's blind i guess he still is able to use a doujutsu (thats the best explanation i can come up with).
As for why gennosuke has to give hyoma permission to look, i cant figure that out as yet.

what the hell are yout alkign about. did your forget that gennosuke and kagero made a run for it leaving hyouma to fight? hyoma used the jutsu like 2 or 3 times. what screwed him over is the fact that koshiro had no vision either from his first encounter with gennonuske

they did make a run for it but the thing about it gennosuke knew when Hyoma had died...they are obviously connected mentally or something. That in mind it wouldn't be hard to understand if Hyoma could be used by Gennosuke as a vessel for the doujutsu

I clearly remember gennoske saying look when he ran off with kagero. and i dont understand the connection. but that isnt the only thing bothering me. the question is, is akigenu-dono Oborow-dono's mom? i think i remember seeing that somewhere. i mite be wrong

your absolutely right. in the teen episoodes i think there was a flash back episode showing when genno and oboro donno met for the first time at the hattori hanzo estate right. one of the hanzo's asked akeginu if she was oboro's mother based of how they interacted with each other, akeginu's response wasn't very straight forward though. she said. "i remember when that was the nature of our relationship" wtf does that mean right...
