People who collect music will probably have a problem either when they format or get music from a friend to do some work on an AMV or such. WMA files can't be beat with their DRM protection. There is one way around it though. Get a license, burn it, and then rip it back to MP3. Tedious aint it?

There is one software that emulates burning so you can do it from within WMP and get your MP3 converted from within the application thereafter.

Though that solution is nice, I've been searching for something that would do the conversion straight with no middle process - or at least no visible middle process.

http://www.drm-converter.com/

That program does exactly what I want. Not too expensive either (depending on license you want) and for USD$15, it's not bad.

Now, I can get back licenses for my WMA files and convert them to MP3 without any hassle, and then, no more DRM problems.

@ LINKIN - The internet. You need to learn your search syntaxes. Usage of "|+- AND OR help with the different search engines. Since most everybody uses google, check here for an example of how to search (http://www.google.com.jm/intl/en/help/operators.html). Also, check here (http://blogoscoped.com/archive/2005-09-29-n85.html) for more.

@DEATH_KNIGHT - Good point U made to LINKIN. Just to clarify again - it only removes DRM (converts to MP3) after downloading a license. WMA files with DRM will only be played after clicking on it, redirecting to a Microsoft website, downloading a license to play the file, and then it will play. After doing this, the only way to convert the music is to burn it and then rip it back. These applications take that hassle away from you, and DRM CONVERTER does it without a middle process.

LINKIN should do some searching for himself though, and I've listed some sites. Hopefully that will help him and everyone else who wonders where I find stuff online.
