View Full Version : Why "deathwish?"
deathwish01b 09-26-2007, 06:40 AM The nickname has been used as my online username since waaaaaaaaay back when you could have a sound byte from The Simpsons on your website without getting sued. Back then it was also the name of an Original Character in a story I posted on www.batman-superman.com, back when they had a valid link to their message board.
My hobbies include porn, stories, porn stories, messing with pics in Photoshop, anime (like, duh), M.U.G.E.N., DAZ|Studio, emulators & roms, and most recently plotting a decidedly culinary fate for those three Easter chickens my sister brought home back when they still had their colored down. Freaking chirping Skittles is what they were.

Heh, yeah, it's still around. There's a couple of groups on Yahoo, there's MugenBR, and I think the Mugen Guild still has its forum. As for new engines, there's ShugenDo (work in progress, but it's open-source).

I think the problems in multiplayer may have something to do with most computers not accepting more than a certain number of keys at the same time. I know I had trouble playing Chrono Trigger in my emulator, due to the requirement to hold down two keys and press a third in order to advance at two points in the game.
I have a large collection of M.U.G.E.N. characters, not so large collection of stages. Heh. Actually, I started out with an all-girl line-up and started adding guys later. Here's my current arrangement:

Yeah, the icons are small and hard to see, but there's room to grow.:uhu:
Now, as far as watching anime, I have the InuYasha 3rd Season Boxed Set, Project: A-ko, Cowboy Bebop the Movie, Spirited Away and the Animatrix on DVD. On VHS, I have two tapes of unsubbed, undubbed Gatchaman that my aunt recorded off of international TV way back when. At the end of the first tape is one episode of "Fight! Iczer One" and half of Project: A-ko (up to the part where the space station blows up). I have several tapes of Adult Swim, from just before the cable company realized the guys who had this house before us forgot to cancel their account and cut us off. There's some Cowboy Bebop, some InuYasha, some Big O, some S-Cry-Ed...um...not sure what else. My VCR crapped out on me and I haven't been able to watch them recently, since nobody else here has a working VCR either. That part's not so surprising, since we bought them all at freaking Wal-Mart.
I could probably mention the old mixed tapes I still have from Saturday morning cartoons including Yugioh and Dragonball Z and that Megaman cartoon where they put Roll in the yellow coverall (not exactly high fashion but better than making her look like a 5-yr-old).
Linkin 09-27-2007, 11:54 AM I may need a copy of that animatrix and G-force. ship dat shit down or send it wid sumbody. mek sure it reach. G-force yute? yu kno how long I looking for that? wait. wats the quality on it?

Because I'm on dial-up, and don't have a DVD burner. It took me all night to load an episode of InuYasha that was posted on YouTube. I'm saving up for a DSL modem, though.
