Plot / Synopsis: Based on the MTV animated series created by Peter Chung, Aeon Flux is set 400 years in the future, when desease has wiped out the majority of the earth's population except for one walled, protected city-state, Bregna, ruled by a congress of scientists.

The story centers on Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron), the top operative in the underground 'Monican' rebellion - led by The Handler (Frances McDormand). When Aeon is sent on a mission to kill a government leader, she uncovers a world of secrets.




Any one seen or head of this flick, I really remember this coming from an animation way back in the day on mtv late night. Looks pretty interesting but i'm wondring if the storyline will really hold me.. another lost identy, fighting back, only has her mission left, doesn't know whos she is thing.

btw, that scene with the needle g**** should be a bit interesting. lots air movements have to go happen to get accross that.

Aeon Flux is a real old school anime, and one of the first i ever watched. So old to i dont even remember the storyline. It seems like it will be a good movie though.

Yeh maybe maybe not on the good movie part but i must admit this shit is wayyyyyy oold. wayyy back. i can remember staying up in the wee hours to watch it on mtv.

I remember now! She was a real skinny chick who wore lot of leather and was very acrobatic.

yep and i wouldn't say she wore alot of leather she wore it but not in large quantities if you get what i mean:giggle

the movie is probably goin to be crap, i dont know why hollywood keep takin these good franchise and turnin them into crap

well it look kinda hard still i dont kno still cos it sorta reminds me of electra abit but watever i'v ever seen it or watched the anime when it use to come on, on mtv...but i hope it rocks.

It was alright as anime back then. if they try push the same story maybe it wont interest me.. as 1 i've seenit before 2 they wont pull it off properly as its not animeit just wont feel right it brings too much of a reality to it.

yer the animation for it was ever weird. or rather different it remeinded me of alexander that used to come on adult swim back i the day. alexander the conqueror was awesome.

i hope the movie is as raw as the unedited version of the anime

oh you've seen it bunny?? yep some pretty wild stuff. the chick thats acting the role ins't the best pic to me though.. i recomend Millia Jovovich.not saying the current girl isn't a hottie as well its just milla fits so well into game/ anime movies. she better be the girl they use for bloodrayne else i'll be relaly really pissed man :rant :rant2

watched it crap. i wasted 4 hrs. 2 of them watchin it and the next 2 hrs well....

yep i heard it had one main action sequence [ the advertisment ] everything else was crap.. and the chick looked sorta semi cute too. i was like hm maybe i could watch her for a few hours seeing that she loks good but i guess o.O :blink i was wrong
