From the looks of it, uTorrent is going down the drain. Such a nice and lightweight program it was.

Short........uTorrent is now purchased by a company. They're going to be under the watchful eyes of said company, meaning they are blocking certain stuff that you could get easily. Basically - agan - let's say that RIAA purchased them. Easiest way to put it. Like when NAPSTER went offline.

I've downloaded uTorrent and been testing it recently. I haven't seen anything in there that shows signs of sending info back to the company. Unless there's some other method they're using, I'm not seeing any anonymous sending. With AZUREUS, I've seen the program try to send e-mails in the background - one reason I'm not using it anymore - and uTorrent seems clean so far. I'll do some more research and post my findings.
@MALLOCX - What features are you talking about tho? Lemme know. uTorrent seems rather robust for it's small size. The original BIT-TORRENT program is very good, but I haven't checked it out recently to see all its features.

I had no idea Azureus would send emails... Im glad I had switched to uTorrent long ago.
But the program seems to be working just kine.
But once you see any funny stuff going on in the background, let us all know ASAP!!!!
