K I"m sure all have seen this movie and if you havent as yet.. shame on you. your missing some of the greatest action choreography fighting has ever scene. Also by far the best looking cg's Ever to grace my notebook's monitor.
This leads me to my question, To those who watched the movie after the main chase scene with cloud trying to catch kadaj who just got his covetted "okasa/mother". When they ended up in that building where Cloud was living i think. and the water effect thing started happening which ended up curing clouds geostigma. What the hell caused that effect, What triggered the water do that, why is it a cure for geo stigma. Is it a reaction to jenova's cells? I still haven't figured that out. Anyone got ne clarification for me on that. :confused:

well i havent finished playing ff7. but from what i know bout the aincents... they return to the planet.. aeris was an aincent... i think it was her doing. i can explain it better, i had all sorts of theories.. ill get back 2 u on that. but did u kow that theres a fox that keeps coming up all over the movie... who does that represent, aeris or zack....? and what did aeris mean by many people have been calling me "mother" of lately??

I figured it was zack. And at the end of the flick it seemed as if Aeries is somehow linked to the controlling of thelifestream. She was the one who took them home [ kadaj and his gang ] She was the "okasan" who said come home.

no she didnt say many people have bn callingme mother of lately, cloud called her mother once in the game by accident, thats why when he said it again, she said not again, aeris is not kadaj's mother, its jenova, there all jus travelling entities that destroy worlds, im not sure why the water started to act that way tho and why it cured the geostigma....

then who was it that spoke to kadaj obviously that wasn not jenova. think about it why would she say those kind words to kadaj, destruction is her purpose and nothing else. It had to be aeiris

lucky guyz... i got subless version XD but i understood he did call her mother whoever it was, but the voice didn't sound as much like aeris' and lexlimitless, it looked more like a wolf to me, but i think it was zack, cuz zack and cloud good friends, if you've seen Last Order (a small anime of the story of wat happened b4 the game) you'll see how cloud wouldn't hav been able to even be alive for the game without zack.

omfg there was a prequel to the game.. dammit how did that pass me.. i should watch that before the week is out or i'll eat my shoe. :rant

first of all, the movie was exceeeleeeenteeeee!!!!

but... if you never played final fantasy 7 in your entire life, you are so puzzled. It's even worst if youve never played final fantasy on a whole before.

I didnt play ff7 (i have played an reached about 90% of ffx though), i am so confused, but i just let the goodness of the movie carry me through. Man it was clean, i loved every second of it.


ps: I CANT BELIEVE KADAJ SUMMONED BEHEMOTH (thats how its spelt right?) THAT WAS SO FRICKEN COOL!!!!... I ALSO CANT BELIEVE CLOUD KILLED BEHEMOTH!!!

Final Fantasy VII is one of the best games ever to be released, with breath taking graphics for it's time and a outstanding soundtrack being only two of it's many high points. You can't help but ask yourself why did it take so long for such a great game to made into a movie. yes vincent is da bomb, but i'm dissapointed that they less focused on him.... and soley on cloud (out of the old group) but i love kadaaj ^_^ he's kick ass in every way, even his childish little fits XD

yer.. he realy was like a child, i think my favourite character was loz.. thephone call scene withloz was hilarious to all ff players. my beef with vincent is his shoes. dood wtf are those. get some cool shoes then you could probably be my fav character from the good guys. on the good team i'm gonna be an old fart and go with cloud yup. i generally hate the forefront guys like goku in dbz i'ld pick vegita cuase he's the underdog but the way in which they did ff7 advent children it was hard to favor ne other character it was all cloud and tifa oriented.. not enough tifa though [ isn't she a hottie ].. and um denzel is clounds son right i mean remarkable resemblance and i'm sure i heard barret say protect your mom [ bahemoth fight scene ]. damn it clouds been knocking tifa around in bed :rant

I agree with loz being cool. but i disagree with kadaj being the cry baby. that was more loz. than ne body else. kadaj was just being objective. he had a mission and he wanted to deal with it. he wanted his re-union. as a matter of fact i'll say this boldly as ever i couldn't care who i upset. kadaj seemd to put on a real good display against cloud as compared to sephiroth. no think about what i'm saying. realize this

1. cloud was being pushed back more when fighting kadaj than when fighting sephiroth

2. kadaj was fighting cloud with one hand. had jenova in the other hand. and did a real good job as well. reflex's was top notch defence and offence as well

3. cloud's fight with sephiroth was very short and not as impressive as it should have been. kadaj entertained me more. sephiroth is just a huge celep in the final fantasy circle hence the reaction he had on watchers.

ps. i just found some short ecchi flicks of tifa.. WOW

you SOB, wheres the link!!! yuffie was as annoying as usual, and finally now cat saith is riding red XIII, i liked when they showed all the chars. they did a good job with everyone, barret, cid, tifa, yuffie and kept all their personal weapons, totally cool! i rated cloud because the movie forced me to rate cloud. cloud and loz, his speed and the whole phone scene, i have that ringtone on ma phone now btw, just when tifa thought she was fast, loz come off the phone and ready again, show her some speed she couldnt follow. but still, i not sure what happened. i mean cloud got a **** shot den he jumped into 2 **** materia blasts, then u see him wake up feeling jiggy, dont get that

they took a whole spiritual journey to show it.. but in essense it was like it wasnt' his time to die as yet, jus tlike in samurai champloo when mugen died from the ship explosion and he saw the ancients come for him and he willed it.. [ i'm not ready for this shit yet ].. similar except cloud didn't will it it was ordained i guess.

no this brings me to the aeris being mother thing. what did aeris say hmmmm didn't she say something like hmmm alot of people have beem calling me okasan (mother) as of lately. who were the only other people ranting and screaming on about okasan could it be the three of kadaj's gang. ok umm firstly i f remember correctly, cloud kicked kadajs ass, u sure the pushing back ur talk ing about wasnt jus cloud keeping his stance? di man doh need 2 hands for his weapon, jus to add more force, if u look back to the forest he didnt use 2 hands there either, i cant believe u really said that, are u watching sephiroth fight closely, sephiroth uses one hand to fight for the most part plus he has the most difficult weapon to weild, kadaj's little fight was jsu a teaser to the real thing.

So are you saying that cloud thought it sensible not to end the fight with kadaj early to prevent the re-union? if he could definatly end it he should have. I dunno kadaj just seemed to have cloud on his toes in my oppinion

come on, when is an anime ever quickly to the point, kadaj was trying to fend off cloud himself and got served, so he resorted to merging with jenovas head, kadaj seemed to had put his all into that last blow and cloud jus hol sword behind back and swang away.

Sephiroth is just too cool even when his ass is kicked... the exit is just hard (one winged angel). And Tifa is just the skilles' big breasted babe in ff history. dont mind that she got her ass kicked by Loz (Sephiroth's relation), she's just... too cool

yeh i asked that same question a few posts back @godfather. i still dont get it. i'm trying to figure if some of jenova's cells fell in the water or something. but why would it have that effect [ healing effect ]..

im guessing the water is a high concentration of the lifestream hence it just fight out the geostigma.

coudln't be like that. because i'm sure water was always around when geostigma was there they would have been cured ages ago.. it has to be some other factor some other element.. i figure jenova started it so she was needed to solve it.. probably her cells fell in the water.

i'm also wondering the same thing. I haven't gotten an answer from any of my friends that watched it. I must agree it is the best anime I've seen with such good fight scenes. Square Enix did one hell of a job on that and I'm much pleased.

I don't know about anyone, but I'm a sucka for swords and this movie did not disappoint me. I love Kadaj's sword, but I just love Cloud's swords, cuz they all combine and for one huge one. I just loved it.

yep clouds sword was pretty amazing. same old buster sword look but with a whole lot more goign on. i think it was a combination of 6 different weapons and the way that the buster sword split up when he was doing his over drive attack on sephiroth. wayyyy awesome.

ever wonder if cloud was fighting on different levels? i thought that the best fight scenes where between cloud and kadaj's two minions...but if i where to compare just sephiroth and kadaj i would say that cloud was going easy on kadaj whereas he went all out for sephiroth, ma two cents
