A true immortal among supers. release date is set for 2006. Clark Kent is gonna be played by a nobody basically Bandon Routh (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0746125/) really hasn't come in anything substantial, i bet its becuase others turned down the role due to the curse [ reeves and the others all had bad luck ] Kevin spacey (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000228/) got the part of lex luthor;.. I'm sorry I'm just not feeling these characters, I really wish they'ld move on from the lex luthor story line with super man movies as well, Let us see some brainiac or something, Come on its 2005 going six and everybody just wants to see some A.I and adroids. superman might not be a theater watch for me :eusa_snoo

I havent watched the entire thing. Looks like it can watch still, but lois Lane... she sorta bitchish. I dont know what her beef with superman was but at times she completely frig up the movie and mek superman almost seem like a bait.

Lex Luther... crackhead

My opinion... they shoulda made this into an anime (real anime, not like that powerfuff girls crap)

But the movie can watch still, lex could have been a little more serious/scary.. he's just a step above comic relief

cuz it's way too long

movie was crap, dem basically mek supes invincible, supes and his look alike clark kent hardly spoke
lois lame
Luthor was better than the rest along with Parker Posey's Kitty. real bad guy that willing to kill billions so he can make billions and basically cntrl the world, him well Greedy

movie was really pretty tho, little to no grain in the transfer, but it didn't help the ho hum actions scenes to b any more exciting than they were.

Superman has always been a 2nd rate character, too strong for him to hav any real challenge from bad guys and to boring in his kent life to b of interest, that's y spidey is tops in my book.

yea supes has strong enemies
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enemies_of_Superman
but y the **** don't they use 'em in the movies
a brainiac lex team up would hav made for a better set of foes than lex and his kryptonite island
even a lil metallo and parasite as minor villains to help fill that 2.5+ hours

dumb movie and waste of my 4bills

i get tired of this same ole remixed love story

i waited for so long for superman or his son to die and non of them did...maybe that would have been the kick the movie needed

And i thought i was just being evil in hoping they made superman die too. Glad to know the feeling is mutual. :D

But seriously, the lois lane moments annoyed the hell out of me!! I am not a fan of mushy moments... and all lois lane moments were mushy!!!

yup the dummest movie of the year people fi realman

jus a way for the lame ass directors to rip off littel teens and adults superman fans like the bitches we are

they did the same thign with blade trinity

hmmm

shit i think they better off if they made a justice league movie at leats the 35 yr old man in bluetights wouldnt be the total center of attraction in the movie

honestly younger i was a supoerman fan like how u guys are anime fans--shit i think i even had a superman pajama andmatching brief lol

but now hinestly my views on a superman movies is jus simply putt--you directors and writers out there dont pull that stunt again of ruinign a totally superior comic hero with your get rich schemes

where the hell where the villians in the move surely it was lex luther--

or prob the villian was the kryptonite lol
lol
lol

on areal thouhg with cuttign edge technology in movie industries my god the superman from the black and whits days was much more captivating

jus a note are americans that stupid that they cant tell the dif between superman and clarke kent for over 10yrs ,when the only thign that differentiates superman from clarke kent is a pair of nerdy classes and a little gel wax twist at the front of his hair

lol

i wonder if the director had stuck with xmen what would have happened, i'm not so sure i'ld blame the director because what more can you do with super man that hasn't been done. honestly he gets his power from the sun (which last time i checked been there for eons and by principle of half life wont burn out for a longgggggg time based on its mass. superman is the big blue tights unbeatable boy, its just how it is. so i blame the maker of super man the super hero and not hte actors or the directors. they didn't think him out well as a character.

its reasons like this that people love batman (he is believeable... to an extent) peterparker he has real issues that people our age face everyday you know what i mean.

I liked it. It was a very different superhero movie. Not a lot of action, but it has heart and that's what superman is about. Kevin Spacey was great and joins the ranks of the definitive comic book character actor like Jack Hughman.
