i agree with shini, if we can find a venue keep it so that the sixth can attend, i will just give DK some blank dvds or a portable HD for him to burn/copy stuff for me.

I think Book 1 and 2 were given out in a past Trading Day... I dunno if all of Book 3 has been released on the internet.. the last couple epis i think werent being released or something like that.

This is why people should try to attend as much as possible... so that we not constantly going over old material, when we need to get new stuff distributed.

This isnt against you Hendy... is just for all the people that going to be requesting older stuff, and holding up the day with them.

area 51 not gonna be cheap plus i think its paid parking in that plaza area

Im sure if they couldnt work out a deal with the place that DK and Skillachi wouldnt consider the place.

Area 51 had been suggested a while back. I am involved with the place so a discount can be worked out and I can try to get you guys a section of the arcade, a couple screens and maybe even internet access.

There is NO PAID PARKING in the plaza as long as you bought something or was a customer of a store in in the plaza...just to ensure everyone knows that.

the last weekend of august might be bad for me but the weekend of the 22nd - 24th is fine and a Sunday is the best day if you guys want more space, a better experience and no parking problems

Well I think the satday is a better day.. rather than the sunday.
Maybe you can find out if they would close the place on satday 23rd for our event... ask them from now so them cant say we never give early warning... dunno bout the last satday of aug since we need you for the links to the place.
If not, I dunno what we gonna do then.

Cause I cant do any sundays.

Saturday is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) days for a business of this type and closing for that day is not a option sorry -_- even if we wanted we have regular customers and activities we have to take into consideration.

But truthfully in general the plaza on a whole gets crazy on a Saturday as thats when most people do their shopping, parking will be impossible and the arcade will be packed and crazy with gamers.

So now when I think about it a Sunday is the only option...sorry -_-

@shini y cant u make it on a sunday? i dont think area 51 is open on sundays so we could have the place for ourselves. on a saturday there is gonna be a lot of high school kidz there makin a lot of noise.

I require 10 hours of sleep to survive work the next day.

And for Trading day to be a success... we usually run at least into midnight... the next morning sometimes.

yeah work is very tiring especially if u get caught in the traffic goin home. maybe if we organize very very very well, we could start at 10am and finish at 8:30pm. we all post the animes we have, then every makes a list of what they want, the we queury the list and burn all who wants anime A first and so on. i know we have tried this b4 but we can try it again and be more strict about it. the list should be given to the people in charge of the burnin a day b4 trading so they can organize themselves. if we could get one of those big dvd burners that burn like 5 dvds at once that would be nice.

Well Im not saying we cant do sunday.
I just know I wouldnt be staying long sunday... and if we wanted to do an all-nighter, then it couldnt be on sunday.

But as you say, if we coulda organize a lot better so burning coulda be done without a hitch... it might can be done on sunday.

But itd have to be early.. as you said, 10.. but people would have to reach ON TIME.
And not come in like 2pm and expect them crap to get burnt right away... and done by 8pm.

Got response from greed. It definitely wont be happening at his place. So thats our. There's one option I haven't explored. I"m gonna ask today as i would prefer a saturday as well. (its just more convenient). Will see how that works out and post my findings this afternoon.

okay spoke with killasirrom it seems its a possiblity. just 1 more check before i send out the mass email to kick this thing into action. Will find out that final detail by tonight. This detail will determine weather we gonna be there all day into the next morning or it'll be ending by 9.

There will be a small donation required. help with the lightbill kinda thing. there' be pc's laptops xbox tv burning all day into the morning if anything. So its understandable i hope. a small portion of the donation may go to paying the server bill :D

:confused:. ok listen. They didn't ask for a contribution. hence it never happened. I'm really trying to have this thing ready for the 30th of august. Area51 is basically a last resort in my opinion. We'ld have to do a payment setup there as well.

1. lightbill now isn't like it was since the last trading day You've seen the jps publications in all the media saying they aren't subsidicing the rising price of oil so its passed directly on to the customers.. so its really expensive now.

2. If the venue owner asks for a contribution and we can honour it I dont see the problem If we cant then we we dont and we cancel the event (we would vote on that) or find another viable venue.

Thats my opinion on the matter. I understand that your trying to be just by saying if one person gets a contribution to his utility usage that will be highly used for the day everybody should get the same. but the truth is nobody asked. I didn't come up with the idea of the donation it was requested and again in my opinion is honestly fair.. in our own dialect / jargon "times hard now" .

Then I propose that we only pay an amount based on his average light bill.... because if 10 people come and pay $500.. thats $5000.. which is like more than half of some people lightbill for the month... and I no plan to pay for half him bill when is only a day i going be there... I would like to know how much his light bill is on a regular.. so that we can base a more accurate amount to give.
Dont need a specific amount... just to the nearest thousand... and then we can figure out how much each pay based on how many people going to come.

Oh, let me make a correction to my statement... PM me about the amount, and we can figure out how much each person should pay.... but we would need to know how many people will be coming.... or we can make them pay at the end of the day.... or before them leave.
And if someone ends up paying more than others.. say them leave early before the majority arrives... then save the money for next time.
Or give it back to them if you can.

ok. look here. the other day we had a trading day at greed we rented a tv which cost us 5k. killasirroms tv which we'll be using is a 32inch plasma that 5k + the fact that we gonna be using his resources for the day. I honestly dont think its not a justified situation.

and like i said if we go to area51 we would each have to pay $500 as well maybe more who knows why wasn't this an issue before now? absolutely no one questioned area51's 500... I'm just saying.

if i own a card board box and it cost me money to maintain the cardboard box and someone wants to use it and i decide its gonna be costly for them to use it and i'm gonna need some contributions to go towards the maintenance of the box after the people use it. Its my right to do so.

the others chose not to ask for money, that was their choice. the current person is askin. u should not use the others to compare. for eg. a fren carries u to work every mornin and doesnt ask u for gas money, one day that fren is sick and another fren carries u to work, this new fren asks u for gas money,

the final date set i see is this saturday coming the 23rd..................is my niece birthday on that day so if the trading day extend into the evening i'll be there.........mi no have no problem wit the contribution thing.............when the final amount set you can jus let me know...............
