Looking for a power supply with the typical connectors needed for your more current hardware.

Not necessarily as many connectors as listed in the pic, but I need something with PCI-E connectors and a P8 CPU power connection. That would mean by default that it has a 24-pin power connector for the board. If you know of any please let me know.

get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817812004

it has 4 12v rail and rail fusion. a lot of video cards these day suck a lot of power from ur power supply. most PSUs dont have rail fusion so ur power hungry video card will be force to use only one of the 12v rails. if ur playin a game like crysis and have a highend video and u max the graphics settings ur video card is goin to need more power than the 12v rail is supplyin (ur pc will shut down or the game will crash). this is where rail fusion comes in, if ur video card needs more power it will fuse two 12v rails to supply that power. its also capable of fusing all four 12v rails.

I looking for one locally to get for a friend. I have a dual rail PSU in my machine, and it's serving me well. Thanks for the suggestion though. I should have stipulated that in the original post - I need it to buy locally. Else I'll buy it overseas, but we looking for minimal wait time.

The PC Shop has a 450 and an 800 - supposedly both are SLI ready - going for 7000 and 13000 respectively. Those prices seem a bit much IMO. My friend is all ready to go get the 800 though - I'm kinda waiting to see which brand it is and check the price online.
