In continuing its plans of taking over the world, Google has released its own web browser, still in beta stages, but so far I say its very nice, loads stuff quickly and not a resource hog. The way it looks is very interesting, different from the rest.

Get it here (http://www.google.com/chrome/index.html?hl=en&brand=CHMI&utm_source=en-et&utm_medium=et&utm_campaign=en)

downloaded seconds after release and have been using it in unison with firefox since. It still needs work though.. when it comes out of beta (which will be never cuz google doesn't believe in final versions of software example: gmail is still a beta after years) it'll be better.

It's going to be probably the best browser created by virtue of being OPEN SOURCE!!!!

Still needs work, but you can help by submitting crash reports and whatnot. The main thing that I love/hate about it is that each tab has it's own memory space, so when it crashes, only the crashed tab is closed. The hate comes in when you check up the amount of memory the browser takes. That will need some work.

I always had a crash problem with i.e. and firefox, this one works fine and it is much faster. It still needs work but it's a great start...

in truth and in fact that is the only ground breaking feature that chrome has brought forth to the table. The multi-threading approach of the browser with relation to tabs. the browsers task manager is pretty impressive as well. and at a glance at all the features it offers, from noob, intermediate to i pwn teh intarweb users you realize that it truely is a mash up of the best features from every browser. chrome has actually opened up my mind to realizing that to date safari is probably the toughest thing as a stock browser. Safari technically have everything that chome has with the exception of the multi-threading.

It'll have a plethora of options available due to the fact that its open source but the best browser simply because it is opensource... I'm not sure... What i can bank on or would like to bank on {choosing words carefully} is the google approach will be upheld which would probably make it an ever evolving application and on that basis be if not the best.. among the best of the lot.

Relative to usage and reach google has the best footing to distributing the browser through all their highly used service.. namely 1. that is. WWW.GOOGLE.COM its right there below the search bar download chrome. and based on the simplicity of the google home page how can you not see it.

There for more options. Not seeing the option to get CHROME below the search bar. You will find it and other stuff on this link.

I haven't used SAFARI - I was a NETSCAPE guy back in the 90's.
