Know this isn't the section for this but why cant i create a thread in the Announcement section?

this is the error i got:
Virus, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Oh. this is simply because the annoucment category was created for the staff to make annouments on the forum. and things like this would be in feed back and suggestions

Thats where i was gonna post it... well not this, but a suggestion; it blocked me and thats the error i got. SO i tried in the announcement section, never got anywhere either.
