As requested from death_knight.. i made a tutorial ^________^

Basic signature tutorial -for beginners ^____^

For photoshop.. pc

Basically i used grundge brushes, add a picture, text and a border ^___^

1) Do you have brushes?? X_O, i used grundge brushes but you can probably use any brushes from
http://www.deviantart.com
but heres a set from there..but its not the one i used DOWNLOAD BRUSHES (http://fs6.deviantart.com/f/2005/096/a/d/Jashins_Brushes_Set_12.abr)
To install brushes you simply download the brush pack> locate it> copy or cut it> then go into your Programs Files [c:]> Adobe> Photoshop>Presets>brushes>paste.
If your in photoshop when installing brushes, you got to close it and open it again so it can detect the brushes.

3) Open a new document [ File>New] [i][my usualy size is Width: 400, Height: 120]

4) Press x and then Ctrl+Backspace[delete], the signature should now be filled black ^___^

A bar should now be near the menu bar. click on the button like in the picture. BRUSH TOOLBAR (http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d59/sxc1_2002/grundge_tutorial/brushtoolbar.jpg)
another menu should have popped up. Click on this button FINDING BRUSH PACKS (http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d59/sxc1_2002/grundge_tutorial/brushmenu.jpg)and then find the brush pack you just downloaded. and select a brush you like!

6) Now back to the signature. Still with the brush tool, start brushing by clicking a bit here and there. till you get something similar to this.

7) Now add a colour. menu bar Layer> New fill layer> Solid colour> OK> OK> Now change the blending mode to Softlight [Window>layer]

8) Add a render [picture], try these sites.

9) Add Text. The effect i used was Double click> Menu should pop up> Tick drop shadow> Tick stroke changed size to 1 and colour to black

10) Open a new layer [Layer>New layer> OK], now press ctrl+a, the whole layer should now be selected.

11) Menu bar> Edit> Stroke> I chose width: 2, Colour: white > set that layer to softlight.WOW BORDERS! (http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d59/sxc1_2002/grundge_tutorial/sig4.jpg)

12) then add a couple of simply shapes..
AND WE ARE FINISHED!! YEAH!!!
