Yes i know all of you want to say sizzla, i know, but yes you can all agree though. Dis guy is full of controversy, but his music is real, even more raw than kartel

Kartel is the real big man. Buss fiberglass and blue steel bad man. Him gunshot run you down like Beverly Macdonald. Him badda dan dem by far- badda dan dem by near- inna peace, inna war- Gunwarfare? See di chief of staff dere Tree-star!

You brain will get float in, wid di big milli-fourteen. Gunshot shoot out you brain and scatter you thoughts.

Kartel is dancehall now. And all you Red Square fans can find a tall tree so Kartel can make you fall like the bridge ova London! (My gun go so PAM PAM!)

Kartel's Freudian slips can all be logically interpreted. The man makes vagina somehow get better- Addy the Teacher is another consistent symbol he uses. He proclaims that he is the cure for all needs of the vagina. Where Kartel scores is that he says things that no one else says- he is plain raw.
Roll deep in a hole. What is wrong with that? The hole that they are rolling in is deep.

I agree that a few of his earlier works is sometimes marred by some basic inconsistencies... but that doesn't detract in the least from his brilliance. He still has tremendous ability as an artiste. "I never came to change the world- I just want to shed a little light"

Cho, i dislike kartel heavily, I wish someone would go and take him out and make this world a better place. The first tune i rate from kartel in a loong time was his tune on the jump off riddim and it wasnt even all that kool is just the riddim why it bad.

ANYWAY, sizzla is the wickedest dj right now. I dont care wah nobody seh. When you can go to sumfest and have the crowd going for an hour straight without pause then u can talk to me. Not even capleton or ele had the crowd for that long and sizzla is consistently performing at high standards.

His lyrics are among the best and his style is just amazing. Yah Sizzla is boss.

I don't know why people don't like Kartel. Then again, it isn't going to stop him from topping the dancehall scene. Sizzla haard still. Ratings. I wish he was a real ras though- but I don't know. Burning bible?
Then again, Kartel is the biggest twist of them all- defends heartlessness and peace from one mouth.

I respect Kartel for the fact that he can write a good lyric, but jeezampeez. Lay off this same old BS for every single song that u write. Its about time u show some versatility, we know u can do it cuz u are writing songs with metaphors that amaze ppl, but jeez.

Thats y i will rate sizzla, only dj currently who can move from being a ladies man, to being a conscious bredda, then being this raucus nasty dj, then being conscious again and still sound tuff.

I think you need to stop and listen to Skillachi and stop this nonesense. Sizzla a di real ting! Him always a rise to di occasion, uno miss di man lyric... "i wah see uno march, a deso di **** war woulda start!" him a di best overall, uno fi easy offa di kartel, kartel and give him a try. rrrrrh. Apart from rock and occasional hip hop which i soon stop listen 2 cuz it nasty, i used to listen sizzla day in day out. i have sizzla tune as probably 30% of my music collection, 30% is a large number for just one artist to keep, memba dat. Di man eva fresh, neva monotunous, "At a stage show, neva flap a stage show", him bring big man like turbulence in di business (who doa rate turbulence???). and wah dis i hearing about rocafella signing/Damon Dash?

I guess nobody rates Beenie man, bounti killa, assassin (pun) or anybody else. The two top artistes are Kartel (start well) and Sizzla.

Well assassin abd bounty killer are high up there in my list too. But sizzla tops the list. Nobody can top sizzla, i just dont find it possible.

Lex talking bout him sizzla collection, i always tell people this bout my sizzla collection... i have sizzla tune wah not even sizzla know seh him did record :D

I nah clash wid no man as it relates to sizzla. if u have more sizzla dan me, more power to you str8, dat means i can only listen to sizzla so much when you can listen to sizzla so much.. more. Bounti hes great, but as of recently i guess cuz i juss not seeing him, im juss come in like a dull knife. him tune dem great, but i missing a certain part of bounti, you know the Outcry and di anytime, i guess cuz someone else writing him lyrics now...

Assasin yeah. used to rate him nuff when him a sing bout sky scraper gun and we pon a mission so weh we di park di expedition, and roll out ina mi tint up nissan, cuz di jeep to kris an, nuh wah draw nuh suspicion. but him like bounti kinda a get dull to, i guess is me i donno. one ting i neva rate wid assasin doa, him come a wolmers fi we barbeque one time and sing ruffest and some new tune when him soulda sing some a him original tune weh put him in di business. di soff soff one dem weh him sing neva draw nuh respect from me

uhm ... best dancehall artist by opinion
well lets see it depends on how i feel
if i in a good mood i would say beenie man
why u ask...
bcus beenie man is di only artist have music for all season that is summer, winter, easter, carnival, etc
plus he is hands down the best performer in jamaica, summer sizzle prove that.

then i can in a bad mood and seh bounty killer
definetly the most influential artist in dancehall, he is almost dancehalls Jay-Z
if bounty seh lex and bima den is lex and bima
he is di only artist that cyan come on a stage show, talk for 4 hours, spoil di show in vibes sense and u still leave and seh "bwoy kill ahard enuh, man speach dem deep" or conversly u hate him for it but u dont say it cus he has built suhc a rep, such a respect that you love him no matter what him do.

or we mention the new breed assassin and vybz kartel
and we seh assassin "versatile" but does that mean kertel isnt?
di truth is this they are both awesomely lyrical and talented.
kartel however due to his raw nature would win for me cus i believe life is more raw than nice, and if its versatiliy u want listen to jump off riddim.

so i say the best is the artist i feelin in the mood to listen to

a far as kolanji guh
he is talented this is true
but turbulance is more lyrical than he is
and capleton has more current

kolanji jus capture di market b4 others could capitalise
and dats wat him living on
his beef wid bounty was a great aid

but we forget capleton " dem shoulda know a saint mary mi cme from"
and " batty man fi get BOOM"
these are excellent songs from an as talented or better artist in performance

one thing i give sizzla is his songs are recognizable by sound
if u hear the rise to occasion beat he doesnt even say anythng for like 20 - 30 seconds, but ppl go crazy di second di beat alone play
dats star power
but listen to his songs of l8, nt much wat they used to be, unless u like me and get some of his raw gun tune and sex di phat pussy songs. di radio pay sizzla songs are rather off now.
listen to turbulance he's di future
