Ok i didn't know where to put this, but i as usual was reading through all the naruto manga upon which i realized something... Gaara can still use his powers!

I remember there being a big debate about whether or not Gaara will be able to use his powers, but then i read this chapter and saw that the answer was right there in front of me all this time. If only i had read the blasted manga and paid attention.

So anyway i am just adding this post so that all doubts will be put to rest, read chapter 281 and you will see somewhere around page 9 or something like that, when naruto is saying his goodbye's, but was afraid to shake gaara's hands (due to naruto's lack of social skills), gaara uses the sand to raise up naruto's hand so that it met his.

So yea, GAARA IS STILL TEH PWNERAGE!

well it would make sense for Gaara to still have the power to control sand..he was only reverred cause of the demon but its not that Shukaku gave him the powers. he's still a shinobi after all and for most of the time the demon lay suppressed inside him..
so yeah Gaara is still the boss just that he's can't go demon mode again

i actually have a diff oppinion i remembere it being shukaku that gave him the ability to manipulate sand.. the demon badger manipulated sand i think, was almost like made of it it seemed.

well i guess that since the demon gave him the powers, he was the one using it and not the demon using it for him...Gaara was the one doing the jutsus all along and so now that Shukaku has been extracted his ability to manipulate sand has not left Gaara

correct you are man.. it means love. shikaku loves him i dunno, i know he made it with the sand when he had to kill his uncle, not sure why he did it to himself, dont know if it was shukaku who did it.. idunno.

i think it has something to do with his mother..don't remember where i heard that

hmmm. i think the sand in the gourd that gara carry's on his back to perform his jutsu, either using shukaku or not, was made of his mother's ashes. or something like that.

well based on what Deidara discovered..the sand in the gourd was used for the shield and him special attacks like the desert coffin and thing. i gonna check what they said about his mothers ashes though

remebe rwhen he was fighitng sasuke and he said yeah mom i'm gonna get you soem clean blood to soak in those two guys i killed had dirty blood. i figure he was talking ot the sand.
