here is the thing i'm basically a noob when it comes to photoshop but i really want to know how to make a gif. nuttin too fancy but if someone could at least teach me the basics that would be a big help, like i said b4 i'm a noob to photoshop so please explain in detail. thnx in advance

sure i can assist you...its simple...is really image ready you gonna use still....you basically gonna first create ur layers..with each layer showing a different thing however you want it animated. After you have your several layers you go to "window" then look for the "animation" panel and click it then it pops up..... then you gonna see ur first frame come up......then u gonna see a little icon called "duplicate frame" click that and it creates your frame....the amount of frames you think you may use....then after that its a matter of starting from the first frame, click that then go over to ur layer panel and hide all the layers apart from the first so its gonna be soemthing like

Frame 1 = 1st animated layer[over ur layers panel] : hide rest of layers
Frame 2 = 2nd animated layer : hide all frames apart from the second layer you want...and it goes on.........


thats is you organized all ur layers in a sequencial order as in 1,2,3 and not all over th place.....

if you have any question that need clearing up you can ask of if somebody can bring it across to you better...

This is still a bit foggy but i'll try it and see what happens..

if i was at home i would have done the screenshot think to make it easier.....but here's a tuorial i dug up that can assist you.......
