not bad not bad i give you credit because its ur first attemp....so boss man how you make these things...you use adobe premiere or something??? and how long did it take you...give me some info on the whole development process nuh....

ye please enlighten us cause this looks like it took more dan a day to create.

Trust me is not a simple process. for one u have to have a vast source of anime to take the scenes from. my friend khat is a big Inuyasha lover so he has tht locked. then u gotta know wat song u wanna use. then u have to sit down and painstakingly go through which episodes u wanna use and which scenes and then match those up with the words of the song so everything flows and meshes. keep in mind this is just a basic explanation of the process. this takes like maybe a week atleast i wud think. but my friend khat aka. THE ELDER has the shit locked so he pulled this off wid relative ease.

okay.................having the time & patience to learn to use adobe premiere.......NOT SIMPLE......was looking forward to becoming a AMV geek......:( i have the program but......DAMIT TO HELL ! ! ! [where is freedom? :)]

Well, IM me and I'll go thru it, unless U want me to do it in the forum so we can all see how. I've been using 6.5 instead of Pro 1.5 due to a weird glitch. If I get it sorted out I'll use Pro 1.5 because it's more user friendly.

Finally updated and did my third AMV. Links are below. #3 took about 3 hours initially, and then another 2½ to get it where it is. I was done, and could have left it, but decided not to be lazy and did it better. Cleaned up, resynch and such. Oh, and if you download it, you'll see a nice little ANIMESYNERGY logo in the vid :D Hope you enjoy them. All other vids will contain an ANIMESYNERGY logo. I will also try and add the logo to the old ones and see if we can convert them to flash so they can be streamed from the site.

Currently working on AMV #4. Will be using SAMURAI DEEPER KYO and the song/s will be PARABOL and PARABOLA by the group TOOL. I think it fits perfectly. "This body holding me, be my reminder that I am not alone." For those who have seen the anime, they may agree.

Bastard of an app. I have no idea why this happens, and if someone else in here does editing, or has any idea, let me know. Granted it could just be Windows......

Anyways. My reason for using PREMIERE 6.5 instead of PREMIERE PRO 1.5 is because of installing codecs. As you probably know by reading my posts about codecs and filters (http://www.animesynergy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=869), installing a lot of codecs on your machine is not good for Windows. Aside from the FILTER PACKS that I've referenced, VLC PLAYER is another good option which doesn't install codecs. Problem is, without CODECS or FILTERS, then PREMIERE cannot open the video file. Premiere 1.5 desperately wants each and every codec that was used to encode a specific file to be installed in order to open and render the file. Premiere 6.5 however will work with just a filter pack installed.

After the install of PREMIERE and whatever CODEC or FILTER pack you want, additional tools you may need are MKVTOOLNIX and MKVEXTRACT (to rip AVI from MKV files) VIRTUALDUBMOD (to rip AVI from OGM files) VIRTUALDUB (to segment AVI and remove audio. Can be done with VDUBMOD) and TMPEGENC just in case.

Will continue using Premiere 6.5 as Pro 1.5 is a bit too unstable where the codecs side is concerned. You need to install said codec in order for it to open the file. With 6.5, there is little you need to do with any Filter Pack, like the CCCP (http://www.cccp-project.net) in order to open the file. Currently working on AMV #4.
