I'm a long time anime fan, b4 it was even popular. While other people grew up on Disney, I grew up on anime. My first animated movie was The Legend of Bruce Lee, u can look it up. Watched it when I was about 8-9years and it skewed my concept of animation. I've never seen it as a 'kids-only' medium, but I appreciate any good animated feature/series.

Currently, not watching more than what's on Adult Swim. My years back here in Jamaica led to an anime drought, but I'm slowly getting back into it.

Found this site through yaardrides, so I'm just gonna c where it goes from here.

Used to have a huge Anime collection, but time/friends have whittled it down.

I'm 34... Chinese Gods was anime b4 there was anime. Got me hooked, b4 it was Hanna-Barbara, Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, and the normal crew. I've never seen an animated movie with a grown up storyline. I mean even 'watership down' was kid fare compared to this movie. Bruce gets skwered half way through the movie and is reborn as a 3eyed killer. The king gets burned to death and someone gets turned into a cookie and eaten by a purple bruce lee dragon, LOL. Didn't get any stranger than that. Robotech followed, then Gundam, Captain Harlock. All that golden age stuff...
